I recently posted my first ever "Clean With Me" vlog on youtube ( view here ) and had asked my followers for some products that were cruelty-free & safe to use to clean the house/body that I could use with my family. I was happy when I found the Dr. Jacobs Naturals Castile Soaps and got a chance to try them out.
Who Is Dr. Jacobs?
"Dr. Jacobs was a Swiss chemist that perfected the long-standing Castilian tradition of making Jabon de Castilla or Castile soap before the turn of the 19th century. "
The brand carries bar soaps as well as body wash that can be used on the face too. I had the pleasure of trying the Almond Honey and the Eucalyptus face & body washes. When I received the package, I automatically opened the Almond Honey scent first. It is one of my favorite scents across the board. It smelled amazing, almost like a soft cookie. The Eucalyptus one I leave on my bathroom sink & use in the morning since it's more of a "wake me up" smell.
I used the Almond Honey as the body wash & I loved it. It provided a nice lather that I could use all over. It was actually a lot more softer than traditional soaps on the market that I actually put it in my hair and it left my curls feeling and smelling really good since it also has olive oil in it. These products are "free of synthetic fragrances and preservatives" and no "artificial ingredients, colors, parabens, phthalate, propylene glycol, lauryl/laureth sulfates, and triclosan"....AND the containers are made from recyclable materials safe for the environment!
I love that this is is strong enough to cleanse all skin types but also natural & gentle enough for the whole family! They have a variety of scents to choose from!!!
