My Mermaid Inspo Board

I have been planning my daughter's Mermaid Themed party since she was prob in the womb! I ran across an image on Pinterest (im a master pinner) of 4 littles girls at a pool party wearing matching mermaid tail towels made DIY by the mom many years ago. I fell in love instantly! At the time, I had my son only and I was waiting for my siblings to have a girl if push came to shove. I knew I was going to do this eventually seeing that I am from Puerto Rico and it is expected in the caribbean to love mermaids and the sea.

My daughters 4th birthday is coming up and I now have a gorgeous nephew (Kairo) turning 1 a few days before. My sister and I decided to do the parties together since we are practically inviting the same people and it was easy to execute. We chose Mermaids & Shark Theme but I had to sprinkle starfish in there bc they were soooo cute! We both wanted to do a water themed event so it came naturally. We interviewed a few venues and decided on one that was not only age appropriate for the little fishes but the parent would enjoy too. Our family has grown a lot over the last 3-4 years so family parties are usually the way to go...or I can easily have 50 kids there LMAO!
